Back to the Grind

I'm actually feeling excited about grinding the $50+ husngs again after trying out hucash last year. I woke up later than I wanted so I missed out on bonus points in cereus at 1pm-4pm (i think) so I'll try to start playing during those bonus hours in the future.

My session didn't start off too well. I decided to play 2 tables of $20s to warm up and actually sat nerdrage who is a poster on 2p2. It was a quick game where I got it in with a better flush draw than his OESD+FD combo draw but he binked his straight even tho I had a blocker to it :( I then started sitting the 50s and someone named misdaisy or something started sitting me and godmoding me. we ended up playing 6 games and she/he won 5. He was a little spewy but difficult to play against when I couldn't catch any cards. Def good practice. I then won my other 3 $50s against a reg and rec player (i assume). 1-1 in the $20s, and 4-5 in $50s.

Time for a break, hopefully my stamina improves I need to play more than 9 games a session :)

New Year, New Look

Happy New Year! Changed the blog around a bit to look nicer imo.

Starting Monday I'm planning on putting in a ton of volume. I hope to play mostly $50 reg speeds through the $80s. I have been slacking in poker for the past few months just playing for fun mostly but now it's time to work. :)

So I haven't been playing too much poker this month but enough to pay rent at least. I plan on putting a lot more volume in at the start of 2011 since this time last year is when I went on my first big heater and I hope it happens again. :)

Pokertube.com was looking to stake some players that are capable of making a few videos a week for them. I was pretty interested until they told me I had to sign up with a new account and not be able to have any rakeback. Plus I had to start at the micros or something.

I still plan on making videos though and probably just posting them here. I might get better and be able to make some coaching videos for some big website in the future. I can dream, right?

after a small break and thanksgiving i decided to move back up to 50s since even though the downswings hurt more, i really am making more money obviously and i need to stop being such a big nit.
